The stunning flowers of Indonesian Wax Ginger last for months and bring cones of deep red color to the base of this tall and vigorous grower. Although known to be a continuous bloomer in its native habitat, when grown inside in a container it can bloom from early summer into early winter. The flowers are made up of bracts that resemble a pinecone or pineapple and feel like a heavy plastic-like substance.
